Culturally Challenging

At The Travel Source we strive to prepare our students for the challenge of cross-cultural living through language learning and culture instruction. From women’s dress to eating customs, our groups are given an understanding of how to bridge the cultural gap. Home stays with Moroccan families provide opportunities for students to participate first-hand in traditional family life and roles. Language learning is an essential part of understanding culture. Students are encouraged to learn and use Moroccan Arabic to communicate with their new friends. Local language schools offer a variety of language courses which can be adapted to fit individual time schedules and objectives.
