Itinerary ^{_______________________}

Day 1             Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel where you will be given time to settle in and freshen up.  Dinner will be served at the hotel

 

Day 2              Marrakech

After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace if the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara Basin and many other hidden treasures.    After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech.  Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit.  The tour will conclude with an exploration of  the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. 

Day 3             Marrakech / Essaouira

After breakfast, you will set off to the coastal city of Essaouira, a picturesque fishing town, lying on the southwest coast of Morocco.  With an exquisite beach to the south, Essaouira has become one of Morocco's most popular coastal towns.  Many of the countries wood carvers and artists make Essaouira their home.  Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants in the medina. After lunch, you will continue your tour of Essaouira, a high light being an optional camel ride on the beach.

Day 4             Essaouira / Marrakech

This day can be spent enjoying the beautiful beaches of Essaouira or winding your way through this quaint ocean front town. At your leisure you will make your way back to your hotel in Marrakech and spend your last evening enjoying the sites and sounds of Marrakech.

Day 5            Depart Marrakech

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
