Day 1                Arrival Fes

Upon arrival to Fes International airport, you will be escourted to your hotel where you will begin to be enchanted by the beauty of this magnificent ancient medina. Your evening meal will be provided for you at the hotel.

Day 2                Fes

After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled cities.  You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco.  A visit to the Kings Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience.  For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3                Fes

This day can be spent exploring the streets of Fes, shopping for the exotic wears that can only be found in Morocco, or leisurely strolling through the market place and escape into a whole new world.

Day 4                Volubolis / Meknes or Middle Atlas

After an early breakfast, you will set out in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubolis.  You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire.  Lunch will be taken in Moulay Idris, one of the holiest cities in Morocco.  After lunch, your guide will take you on a bus tour of the imperial city, Meknes.

Explore the fascinating and beautiful towns of the Middle Atlas. See places like IFRANE, SEFROU, AZROU, and the CEDAR FOREST. You will be able to see different styles of mountain villages from the beautiful alpine style town which is filled with lovely parks and lakes and home to one of Morocco’s premier private universities, to visiting the charming Berber towns which offer fascinating little medinas and a pretty waterfall. Azrou is a Berber town that is well known for their excellent Berber carpets, and wonderful weekly souqs.You will be awe-struck by the beauty of the surrounding mountains and pine and cedar forests and have an opporunity to see the Barbary apes while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Day 5                Depart Fes

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
